<center style="color: #999999; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px;">
This month we have been given a fantastic sketch to work with by team member Tamara,</center>
<center style="color: #999999; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px;">
<br /></center>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #999999; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #999999; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #999999; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: center;">
Now, if you have seen my previous months samples then you know that I tend to work with only one photo per layout. So this sketch was a challenge for me but I embraced it and I am happy with the end result. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #999999; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: center;">
I have been holding onto a series of photos of my eldest daughter from last year, they were of her performing in a classroom drama of "3 Billy Goats Gruff" These photos were the ultimate challenge, school uniform navy with a bright green background but you know what I was able to match these photos to some papers from Jillibean Soup I picked up in a Flog it Friday sale.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #999999; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #999999; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #999999; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #999999; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: center;">
When I looked at the sketch I really wanted to use a different element with the two half moons. So I grabbed my watercolour pencils and one of my stencils and started to colour in... What FUN!!! I just added water then a black pen outline to create these multi-colour chevrons. I finished them off with some black ink drops and a couple of the stickers from the sticker sheet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #999999; font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, FreeSerif, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px; text-align: center;">

Hi All</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lou here to show you how easy this months Mad about Scrappin Challenge really is...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwZmwZGxNFrXjFmtj3mC4ycL3ySLqUzlZRogz28FM86T32DT_U-IdfIOT3ZxKlvN9qGnAkfdozdgpb-LNlfNV38d8q45AHV9DBRckuiYjXr-YRT-u3bu-m7BVLJmG_Ty-CTgW4aE-lo5ec/s1600/575572_472057042863239_1183448766_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" cya="true" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwZmwZGxNFrXjFmtj3mC4ycL3ySLqUzlZRogz28FM86T32DT_U-IdfIOT3ZxKlvN9qGnAkfdozdgpb-LNlfNV38d8q45AHV9DBRckuiYjXr-YRT-u3bu-m7BVLJmG_Ty-CTgW4aE-lo5ec/s320/575572_472057042863239_1183448766_n.jpg" width="272" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1. Use a word for happiness, well lets go to the thesaurus for this.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em>Happiness can be</em><em><br /></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em>beatitude, blessedness, bliss, cheer, cheerfulness, cheeriness, content, contentment, delectation, delight, delirium, ecstasy, elation, enchantment, enjoyment, euphoria, exhilaration, exuberance, felicity, gaiety, geniality, gladness, glee, good cheer, good humor, good spirits, hilarity, hopefulness, joviality, joy, jubilation, laughter, lightheartedness, merriment, mirth, optimism, paradise, peace of mind, playfulness, pleasure, prosperity, rejoicing, sanctity, seventh heaven, vivacity, well-being.</em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used the word delight (tick)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2. Next use an altered embellishment, </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
this can be as simple as changing the colour of your alphas which I did (tick)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih0ar1npetGvVrbnyxfStW5nnMFQlPS_1QySHJ2mb07r0EM0sSLm6kWnnArLSZb5rtS7nE7MlK40KV3bYIgZPrq0nr7N_uF5dayf9ZgoHldEJcS09YcmCF-6zOL9VLvYVXcTuq2LVPTmsS/s1600/iphone+pictures+009.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" cya="true" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih0ar1npetGvVrbnyxfStW5nnMFQlPS_1QySHJ2mb07r0EM0sSLm6kWnnArLSZb5rtS7nE7MlK40KV3bYIgZPrq0nr7N_uF5dayf9ZgoHldEJcS09YcmCF-6zOL9VLvYVXcTuq2LVPTmsS/s320/iphone+pictures+009.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As you can see these alphas are a green/black colour but I wanted a solid black for my title, so hey pesto I grabbed one of my black pens and went colouring. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
3. Last criteria, use a frame of some sort (tick)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsxuBjGsw1OaQ_J0keb3izP_zksaPTyL6T0It7IqowiqI7isYzEPLg1jkvrPnzdeA-cANNQyS03HmHCS2-xaCHE64qa3eE5OpKOr1d_nQYhqoX-f_TDuHDTRbpnxC4hao6xSlGrn2QLvIg/s1600/iphone+pictures+004a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" cya="true" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsxuBjGsw1OaQ_J0keb3izP_zksaPTyL6T0It7IqowiqI7isYzEPLg1jkvrPnzdeA-cANNQyS03HmHCS2-xaCHE64qa3eE5OpKOr1d_nQYhqoX-f_TDuHDTRbpnxC4hao6xSlGrn2QLvIg/s320/iphone+pictures+004a.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used a Polaroid frame from Kaisercraft and I altered this by adding some arrow stickers to it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuXIEKoNV9KoUvQXjE4rm6o5aDD4WPgcc2HAIzjUypANq6zOoxwHIEAXZm4eJBW-ehg9YCQaCo90qT-ixBM17CPlBMDbxXRGK012Q0zHPrJ8qTvgnFNiTZ9dKoCAnGYV1jNp7oYLJwatf5/s1600/iphone+pictures+003a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" cya="true" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuXIEKoNV9KoUvQXjE4rm6o5aDD4WPgcc2HAIzjUypANq6zOoxwHIEAXZm4eJBW-ehg9YCQaCo90qT-ixBM17CPlBMDbxXRGK012Q0zHPrJ8qTvgnFNiTZ9dKoCAnGYV1jNp7oYLJwatf5/s320/iphone+pictures+003a.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also altered the main glitter alphas in my title by adhering them to black cardstock then cutting them out before placing them on my page for further oomph</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers I have used on this page are from Summer Stories range from Teresa Collins, lots of gold glitter which is very trendy at the moment. I purchased these from Mad about Scrappin <a href="http://www.madaboutscrappin.com.au/store/Default.asp">Here</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is my page in full showcasing the June Facebook Challenge,</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added some epoxy stickers from Heidi Swapp, and used some embellies from Freckled Fawn.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

As soon as I ripped into the packet from <a href="http://www.blogger.com/"><span id="goog_1941357427"></span>Mad about Scrappin</a>, I feel in love with this patterned multi colour chevron paper and I wanted to create a fun page to show its full potential. The first thing I did was grab my 'old' school Heidi Swapp mask and create the circle with ink, as well as using some hessian as a mask to spot highlight some texture. </div>

You should of arrived from <a href="http://nayandgilly.blogspot.com.au/">Renee Iveson's Blog,</a> if you haven't then you may need to go back to the beginning and start again from the <a href="http://madaboutscrappin.blogspot.com.au/">Mad about Scrappin</a> Blog</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
My Name is Louise or Lou to my friends, and I like to get inky...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
I started this Scrapping Journey over 8 years ago now, around the time I was planning my wedding and creating my daughters baby album, which I had been given as a present at my Baby shower. I was hooked from the word go... I searched out and found anything I could scrapping related, stickers, papers, and ribbons. I quickly took over the dining room table which was a blessing as my hubby soon purchased a massive desk for me and moved me to the garage, and I still have that desk to this day.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
I have not stopped creating since then, my main source of inspiration is of course my two daughters, Daphne nearly 8 and my 'baby' Olivia who is 5. I also like to terrorise my hubby for photo's as well, one of my projects at the moment is to scrap his journey through open heart surgery which he underwent last year to repair and replace his aortic root and valve. It has been a long recovery but in the end it has brought us closer together, I must say scrapping the bad times can be very therapeutic. I won't say cheaper then therapy as I reckon that might be cheaper then the scrapping LOL....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
I don't have a style of scrapbooking, I have slowly started to add more artistic elements to my pages, love getting dirty hands. I have created shabby, clean, vintage and grungy at different times. The only constant with my style is that I like to stick to the traditional 12 x 12 page (the perfect size in my humble opinion)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">

Not very creative I know, it's the title of the range from Echo Park, one of their mini kits they have released this year. I picked this up during the last Mad about Scrappin's Flog it Friday sale on Facebook, at the bargain price of $7.50... How could you not get it when it is full of funky camera images, film strips and triangle patterns. This complimented one of my other purchases the Studio Calico Triangle Mask, oh and the Maya Road assorted ephemera which I picked up as well.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hi my name is Lou and I have an Addiction.... I LOVE EPHEMERA!!!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Anyway back to my page, I started with plain white card stock. I used the Triangle Mask down both sides of my page with Pumice Stone Distress Ink, I then quickly grabbed another of my masks and used Crushed Shells glimmer mist to create the splat pattern, finally using Barn Door Distress Ink to colour the hearts, with black pen doodling as a highlight.</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7nMsWiAzeRVv0kh2j6DWPZCtPO4lC8CGNvOQk-zZflVCW-db14-XUGEl240AshHWjeMgAjpXAiqA1-EaGJSmJWT4vtxKBoBrJ9XhQuP7cPhm4TDwYtJnPGItnLlvtJsg98eg4Mn86IZUq/s1600/009+(768x1024).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7nMsWiAzeRVv0kh2j6DWPZCtPO4lC8CGNvOQk-zZflVCW-db14-XUGEl240AshHWjeMgAjpXAiqA1-EaGJSmJWT4vtxKBoBrJ9XhQuP7cPhm4TDwYtJnPGItnLlvtJsg98eg4Mn86IZUq/s320/009+(768x1024).jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then used my Big Shot to die cut 5 different paper/ card stock hexagons and played with them on the page until I was happy with the arrangement then attached them. I then made a film strip out of card stock as well as cutting one out from the patterned paper. I then added these to the paper cluster in the middle of the page.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7kFVwLIac_mEzt43-x09rcb73OPRYPzg7xlDVvWYmYRGv5efa5_3SBc3vGy3rdt2lS8TFtWmcx6RpljlKqi8d-3tWqL3tLlsBFTLsuCWYTwnu8LBZYXpVwwgv5bnXafctUOnp_zMBJiKG/s1600/012+(768x1024).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7kFVwLIac_mEzt43-x09rcb73OPRYPzg7xlDVvWYmYRGv5efa5_3SBc3vGy3rdt2lS8TFtWmcx6RpljlKqi8d-3tWqL3tLlsBFTLsuCWYTwnu8LBZYXpVwwgv5bnXafctUOnp_zMBJiKG/s320/012+(768x1024).jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I then grabbed from my stash a chipboard sheet of chevron arrows from WOW, and covered these in paper and card stock again, to create the sense of movement across the page. Layered up the page with elements from the journal sheet and the sticker sheet... Love these mini kits, enough paper for at least two pages.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The final touches were these Kraft people from Maya Road, they are meant to be a flag pin but they look like 2 girls holding hands and I thought this perfect to go with this photo of my girls, too cute I reckon. I also added some MDF Polaroid frames again from Maya Road near the photo to compliment the photography theme. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hi All</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here is a store sample for Bella Paperie using Kaisercraft's new range for April 'Hopscotch'. I have had these papers for a while but was struggling to find a really fun photo to go with the fantastic colours in this range. I then remembered that I had this photo of Olivia at my sisters house wearing my teenage nieces 'pretend' glasses, she is looking adorable if I do say so myself.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<h3 class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<u>Girls just want to have FUN</u></h3>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKJ2SRiu2AFWV8I0KyCs3NyD0eRTMaUdbhVoYGPbWkRZ_jjE98iNE9cUE_vewg2LO0SNkCxkw3xfAN8r0fIt8KIKzFEeDAug2L001Y4I3IqfDdatARfWLj-MmRKQaHARtW6nsj4Swxkd5h/s1600/002+(1024x1002).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="313" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKJ2SRiu2AFWV8I0KyCs3NyD0eRTMaUdbhVoYGPbWkRZ_jjE98iNE9cUE_vewg2LO0SNkCxkw3xfAN8r0fIt8KIKzFEeDAug2L001Y4I3IqfDdatARfWLj-MmRKQaHARtW6nsj4Swxkd5h/s320/002+(1024x1002).jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This range is soooo super cute lots of bold colours, bikes, flowers, clouds, music notes and great die cuts. I started by inking through some heart punchinella with spun sugar distress ink and followed that up with some black through my chevron mask.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUo5eSIyCcifvVQFRzX7ca6u9wHTJYZjHBkR1c3EBDJyvlZHZ-MWIlv3jdR_50E6hcVumP_VkuCYSrRVEjxAQiFLJFkH-2J4X97Jho20mTa2hWvFFf6ZgqMAygHiM0GouiRFsaQ5fQIQdQ/s1600/006+(768x1024).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUo5eSIyCcifvVQFRzX7ca6u9wHTJYZjHBkR1c3EBDJyvlZHZ-MWIlv3jdR_50E6hcVumP_VkuCYSrRVEjxAQiFLJFkH-2J4X97Jho20mTa2hWvFFf6ZgqMAygHiM0GouiRFsaQ5fQIQdQ/s320/006+(768x1024).jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then wanted to add another feature to the page and grabbed a funky heart flourish chipboard and inked it yellow to mimic the khaki colour in the papers and a lovely turquoise heart for the centre. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was able to purchase a great new border punch from EK Success, which produces a film strip, this was a must have for this page :D I punched it in turquoise then backed it with black cardstock. I then added the fake washi style strip off the sticker sheet, to draw the eye to this focal point.</div>

<br />
<div align="center">
Here's another shot of the detail on the page from the collectable packet that comes with the range.</div>

<center>
Gorgeous shades of green, cream and pink... LOVE this colour
combo.</center>
<br />
<center>
I purchased in a previous Flog it Friday the 'Fiction' collection from
Basic Grey and I was able to match these colours perfectly from the
range</center>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe113lLG9nlA2nJ85qdX6_3eJlKX84-1IwA1qbXk8P7zDcmcm5NrgACrxCrF9KX9qASvT9J7gfdf06HI2V6P7OFPvNzxqkGjf6ol7UKbg1GpqnPGNn6_pcxaV44h2yz5PI5KZZY5lGjDRY/s1600/fiction.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_uid_776502690="3" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe113lLG9nlA2nJ85qdX6_3eJlKX84-1IwA1qbXk8P7zDcmcm5NrgACrxCrF9KX9qASvT9J7gfdf06HI2V6P7OFPvNzxqkGjf6ol7UKbg1GpqnPGNn6_pcxaV44h2yz5PI5KZZY5lGjDRY/s320/fiction.png" width="318" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
Aren't these papers Divine!</div>
<br />
<div align="center">
First point of call was to grab my Kraft Core and pick a
background colour, I went with a pale pink and then I distressed the left and
right edges and sanded them and finished with a swipe of Antique Linen
Ink.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1vS5sj8FDWKzbfStpQXb92qv4mq6fbmfvsqQCGuPbHbpMjxprN4sIIX8NQVXPaIx5j6-8EE48zIA5mEVfs-YOPAGT8AdfC_mWZR7SZIeTcQFhhZ-m-GKIRzdpra6k72emf_AUPOzG7Y16/s1600/214+(768x1024).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_uid_776502690="4" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1vS5sj8FDWKzbfStpQXb92qv4mq6fbmfvsqQCGuPbHbpMjxprN4sIIX8NQVXPaIx5j6-8EE48zIA5mEVfs-YOPAGT8AdfC_mWZR7SZIeTcQFhhZ-m-GKIRzdpra6k72emf_AUPOzG7Y16/s320/214+(768x1024).jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
I then took the pale green number sheet from the 'Fiction'
pack, cut this down and ripped it along one edge. I then inked it with my staple
Antique Linen to keep with the cream in the inspiration. I then placed some
brown chevron Washi tape along the left hand side and I also wanted to create
another layer which I had seen in the Basic Grey papers, so I then taped a piece
of lace under the torn edge.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYPKFj3mrRtdrdr1T-Q7GXeqDo0OFQp0XwqrGd6O57rwxnG-J7FCKWGeiwAw8TosXghgJClHvvo-uCD_e-LLty6Ln6EJfZWZgCRMMStFxBsx2SbErMIf6fQ8wnu06kFa-gCXfZ-myG-qkh/s1600/209+(768x1024).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_uid_776502690="5" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYPKFj3mrRtdrdr1T-Q7GXeqDo0OFQp0XwqrGd6O57rwxnG-J7FCKWGeiwAw8TosXghgJClHvvo-uCD_e-LLty6Ln6EJfZWZgCRMMStFxBsx2SbErMIf6fQ8wnu06kFa-gCXfZ-myG-qkh/s320/209+(768x1024).jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
I wanted to look soft on this edge and I think, that I
achieved this. I wanted to create some interest over the patterned paper
background and I decided on inking through two different masks with Antique
Linen, one the bold circles in the centre and the other mask to give another
element of a border around the page. Next step was to cut a large pennant shape
out of the pink floral paper, distress, ink it and stick this down. As well as
the 3 small strips to give the balance.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjGN_9S2y8fYJsD_TZmDrjdcwtRGOqZvIFT1mLJZlKkszGj4A-6uWS-L_xqA5KOcNvS8z62_Aioj5xhVfOYtnFOsnYS-K30tKAeyqUAm6UgEjM4sXxQSmW4LyvhgSvoP9IJXCr1-cb2QLz/s1600/210+(768x1024).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_uid_776502690="6" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjGN_9S2y8fYJsD_TZmDrjdcwtRGOqZvIFT1mLJZlKkszGj4A-6uWS-L_xqA5KOcNvS8z62_Aioj5xhVfOYtnFOsnYS-K30tKAeyqUAm6UgEjM4sXxQSmW4LyvhgSvoP9IJXCr1-cb2QLz/s320/210+(768x1024).jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
Another one of my staples is the Polaroid Frames from
Kaisercraft, love, love, love these. My picture was already square as it is an
instagram photo of my darling daughter last winter building a sand castle in our
sand pit. But I wanted to echo it further with the added frame and I knew this
would give me the space for a title.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGDUPOs-wQtUWDlJRwN9wbTyhNdZMl4hg31Lh2wPqv2e2Zs0IW6XhLLMxdnPBRctJ_TFVTlQY5RrMVYa0baMYg50nKbg_UjdnqS15OgjsReznKyXFOPVzpKoEPfUZKNH7j92-fdMHCsWO4/s1600/215+(768x1024).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_uid_776502690="7" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGDUPOs-wQtUWDlJRwN9wbTyhNdZMl4hg31Lh2wPqv2e2Zs0IW6XhLLMxdnPBRctJ_TFVTlQY5RrMVYa0baMYg50nKbg_UjdnqS15OgjsReznKyXFOPVzpKoEPfUZKNH7j92-fdMHCsWO4/s320/215+(768x1024).jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
If you saw my blog entry last month then you know that I have
a love of little embellies and I collect lots of bits and pieces. I also never
as a rule throw any scrap paper away.... So the rest of my papers have come from
'My Stash' for instance the pink little miss muffet paper (Lily Bee) is actually
grey, I inked it with Spun Sugar distress ink to match the page. Also the view
finder is from a sheet of Echo Park, I use them all the time, great for that
little something on a page.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQXz9rxFzcQp-V37wvg6C7lgRx19u5cvdSmyOSuwomMriweGQRdyXDxAYAsZbQbK9jTfhpk7kVdzxNhCAIbqxwitM9kHuaGJmY81mHiOPWkuesaUf-IeikMp1hFRJ9hYtuRJmC_9e58NUQ/s1600/213+(768x1024).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_uid_776502690="8" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQXz9rxFzcQp-V37wvg6C7lgRx19u5cvdSmyOSuwomMriweGQRdyXDxAYAsZbQbK9jTfhpk7kVdzxNhCAIbqxwitM9kHuaGJmY81mHiOPWkuesaUf-IeikMp1hFRJ9hYtuRJmC_9e58NUQ/s320/213+(768x1024).jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<center>
I love texture and adding a small amount of muslin to my page, gave it
another soft effect and also meant I could create little clusters of embellies,
buttons, rhinestones and drips of glimmer.</center>

Hi All</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am here to
show you my page that I created with the prompt from this months glorious Mad
about Scrappin, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Mad-About-Scrappin/113581495377464"><span style="color: #e881a9;">facebook
challenge</span></a>.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhT78fk8cwxyUFFidO8EZFNaEez1UQcN13HviQECDq2KcSXurlSZHi-4_Dz5MpVxqLEM-jCELvsTb2BLAp2EPP9zmYqlDQ8tQR_lpflgdEupE4K3U4rXe3vIdykEtAYBrwVGNRBKcutp6ex/s1600/556647_427110227357921_332095691_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_uid_777924030="2" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhT78fk8cwxyUFFidO8EZFNaEez1UQcN13HviQECDq2KcSXurlSZHi-4_Dz5MpVxqLEM-jCELvsTb2BLAp2EPP9zmYqlDQ8tQR_lpflgdEupE4K3U4rXe3vIdykEtAYBrwVGNRBKcutp6ex/s320/556647_427110227357921_332095691_n.jpg" width="271" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Use your favourite
colour combo... firstly I have to admit every colour is my favourite, so I went
with Brown/ Peach and Aqua as my colours as this matched the photo I was using.
I ended up using a paper pack I had brought from <a href="http://www.madaboutscrappin.com.au/store/Default.asp"><span style="color: #e881a9;">Mad about Scrappin's
online store</span></a> Teresa Collins 'Tell your Story'. This paper pack is just
gorgeous full of yummy peach tones and aqua, blended with white. You will
notice not alot of white on my page but I will get to that in a moment.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The next
requirement for the challenge was to use 2 techniques on the page, I used
Embossing and Sanding, Misting and lastly distressing of the papers. I grabbed
my woodgrain embossing folder(my favourite) and some of you may gasp but I cut
it in half.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPWm18iQyrZpSrWNVpFt2bJW6HvnZh6IE8vjuvD7HB7lOFIfYy9E3isH9k1aKeMeK8IHNMFSJPPZGPFGFKc8_Vi_rm5sN-6ONTyLjpPrtTvdzMQeqV7nC4NIL2Zu5Tnd_ezMbui9PRFc9Q/s1600/096+(1024x712).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_uid_777924030="3" height="222" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPWm18iQyrZpSrWNVpFt2bJW6HvnZh6IE8vjuvD7HB7lOFIfYy9E3isH9k1aKeMeK8IHNMFSJPPZGPFGFKc8_Vi_rm5sN-6ONTyLjpPrtTvdzMQeqV7nC4NIL2Zu5Tnd_ezMbui9PRFc9Q/s320/096+(1024x712).jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This allowed me to
emboss a strip of Kraft-core core'dinations twice along it's length I used two
pieces 12in by 3 1/2in. I then sanded the raised embossed edge to show up the
Kraft core and lightly inked with Tea Dye Distress Ink. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My next Technique
was misting, I used glimmer mists to change the white on the aqua/white chevron
to aqua and cream. I utilised this on all of the papers I have used on this
page, I wanted more of an aged look to go with the photo I had chosen. This is a
photo of my youngest daughter using Instragram filters which I love, they make
the photo look from the eighties. To distress the papers every edge was also
inked with 3 inks firstly Antique Linen then Tea Dye and finally Pumice Stone
all from the Distress Ink range. To create the shadows and depth on your page,
play with the paper before you stick it down, I like to curl or flick the edges
to make it 'less stiff' very technical I know. You will be amazed at how much
of a difference this makes.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgc9RMnQUZ9vcJZZrrxzJjiCGS-NrkBn6NlXZVXNlhr4sU6n7Tvr-1POBoTusUFtojnSjlo7srt9kxomej9MF8PkWoWuWJ9uoL0kLo8Qe0cakDjzAgaSBppQuWPW5c5F0QJajx-1jlfeR8t/s1600/091+(768x1024).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_uid_777924030="4" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgc9RMnQUZ9vcJZZrrxzJjiCGS-NrkBn6NlXZVXNlhr4sU6n7Tvr-1POBoTusUFtojnSjlo7srt9kxomej9MF8PkWoWuWJ9uoL0kLo8Qe0cakDjzAgaSBppQuWPW5c5F0QJajx-1jlfeR8t/s320/091+(768x1024).jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Love this MDF
camera from WOW chipboard which Mad about Scrapping sold at Flog it Friday in
January. Using them on all my pages at the moment as well as the yummy sequins,
of course I had to have every colour ;)</div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My embellishment
cluster was made up of lots of little resin and crochet pieces I collect in the
Flog it Friday sales, they are fantastic for picking up pieces for clusters that
do not cost the earth. Again my title is made up of a tiny word chipboard that
was sold at the last Flog it Friday.</div>

'All is Bright' from My Minds Eye is a stunning range of papers, traditional, vintage and retro all in one and perfect for my niece who is fast turning into a stunning young lady. Emily my 16 year old niece is into all things unconventional. I needed Christmas papers which suited her and when I found these papers at <a href="http://bellapaperie.net.au/">Bella Paperie</a>, they were perfect. </div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I wanted a really grungy feel to this page, so I started with layering ink, and colorshine through different masks on cream cardstock (side note, I LOVE Gold Lame colorshine by Heidi Swapp) to break this up I then grabbed my music note stamp and roughly stamped over the ink. </div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To further enhance the grungy feel, I grabbed my box of washi from <a href="http://d-lishscraps.openstores.com.au/">D-Lish Scraps</a> and rummaged through until I found the perfect ones and then backed the plain cardstock with the red spotted paper from the range.</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This range also lends itself to alot of fussy cutting and I cut out most of the elements, so I could spread them around the page. Mixing in various doilies and sequins as well.</div>

This page was completed using papers from Carta Bella 'Alphabet Junction' the colours really matched the girls in the bath together. I love to scrap everyday and this photo is a shot of them both being treated for the dreaded creepy crawlies - Nits....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Apart from the paper, I used distress ink with my splat mask, and various embellishments from <a href="http://d-lishscraps.openstores.com.au/">D-Lish Scraps</a></div>

This page was using up the remainder of papers that I had from a class I took in September with my bestie <a href="http://mylilpatchoftheplanet.blogspot.com.au/">Amanda Lawrence</a>, who taught the class at <a href="http://bellapaperie.net.au/">Bella Paperie.</a> This range is 'Butterfly Kisses' by Kaisercraft. To create the lines I ran a hole piercer tool over ink pads then over the page, I complimented this colour with punch outs of the paper and matching buttons. Of course I could not resist using some yummy washi from <a href="http://d-lishscraps.openstores.com.au/">D-Lish Scraps</a> as well.</div>

Hi my Lovelies</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am back with one of the Layouts I completed at the <a href="http://bellapaperie.net.au/">Bella Paperie</a> Retreat.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had started this page at home but was lacking inspiration but there is always plenty of it around when you are in a room full of creative women. These are Lilybee papers I had in my stash for quite awhile now but the colours were perfect for the selfies of my daughter and myself.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I combined these fake Polaroids with negative punch outs from cardstock, I also inked through two different masks to create some texture in the background. I had only that week picked up some sequins from <a href="http://d-lishscraps.openstores.com.au/">D-Lish Scraps</a> and I glued these on with my glue pen.</div>

Moments in Time</h2>
<div class="serendipity_entry_body" style="text-align: center;">
This Layout was created using the new "Cakewalk" range from October Afternoon. Funnily I have used a Christmas 2011 photo of the girls with this paper which is really a party range, but I think it works perfectly.<br />
<br />
<img class="serendipity_image_center" height="453" src="http://bellapaperie.net.au/serendipity/uploads/IMG_1205.JPG" width="450" /><br />
<br />
This was a quick and easy page to create for <a href="http://bellapaperie.net.au/">Bella Paperie</a>. The background paper had all of this faux stitching with a star in the top right hand corner, which I cut out carefully as I wanted to use this again in the embellie clusters. I used stars from the flower stacks as well as bits from the Doo-dads, to finish off this page. The chipboard was inked in Pinecone and was from Imaginarium Designs.<br />
<br />
<br />
<img class="serendipity_image_center" height="225" src="http://bellapaperie.net.au/serendipity/uploads/IMG_1206.JPG" width="300" /><br />
<br />
Here is a shot of the layering of the stars on the side of the photo.<br />

<img class="serendipity_image_center" height="402" src="http://bellapaperie.net.au/serendipity/uploads/IMG_0756.JPG" width="400" /><br />
<br />
I created this layout using "Note to Self" paper range by Echo Park, another sample that I created for <a href="http://bellapaperie.net.au/">Bella Paperie</a>. This paper, covered in numbers, was perfect for scrapping Daphne's school photos. Can I tell you how much I love this range, so many little elements on the paper that you can cut out and use, just YUM!!!<br />
<br />
<img class="serendipity_image_center" height="225" src="http://bellapaperie.net.au/serendipity/uploads/IMG_0757.JPG" width="300" /><br />
<br />
A little close up of the embossed Jenny Bowlin Coordinations paper that I sanded, I also added <a href="http://d-lishscraps.openstores.com.au/">D-Lish Scraps</a> washi, journal tag and crocheted flower. The Martha Stewart Doiley was altered with Antique Linen Distress Stain and finally the title alphas are Jillibean corrugated alphas.<br />

Bright Sunshiny Day</h2>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Debra from <a href="http://bellapaperie.net.au/">Bella Paperie</a> asked me to create a sample page with papers from Pink Pailee's 'Prairie Hill' the colours in this paper really suited some older photo's I had from the eighties. The particular photo I ended up using is the only photo I have of my family together prior to my parents getting divorced.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="serendipity_entry_body" style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3N8zCYm1_Ekc6B77dDcvQhhYiRB3MQODR4H76XtCjHIUL6Dj6UCTgJwgcFqt5lnroYnRzuiQbK1eNtCTx-VnrVNp25EmUgXeDXaeET9VpZOBWG5X8EeckkUSSLUY8EMPLCLqRBTOjbTmg/s1600/SAM_1787+(1024x1018).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3N8zCYm1_Ekc6B77dDcvQhhYiRB3MQODR4H76XtCjHIUL6Dj6UCTgJwgcFqt5lnroYnRzuiQbK1eNtCTx-VnrVNp25EmUgXeDXaeET9VpZOBWG5X8EeckkUSSLUY8EMPLCLqRBTOjbTmg/s320/SAM_1787+(1024x1018).jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I created a faux notepaper out of one of the sheets as well as created a handmade bottlecap embellishment, I used distress embossing powder on the bottlecap to change the tone, here is a link to the <a href="http://lousscrappingdesk.blogspot.com.au/2012/01/hiya-all-here-is-tutorial-i-did-for-d.html">tutorial</a> on how I do this. I wanted to keep the focus of this page on the photo as I then made a pin wheel and added a few embellies to keep it simple.<br />
<br />

<br />
The wooden buttons and washi tape used on this page was purchased from <a href="http://d-lishscraps.openstores.com.au/">D-Lish Scraps</a><br />

<br />
Here is a sample I created for my local Scrapbooking store <a href="http://bellapaperie.net.au/">Bella Paperie,</a> I used some yummy papers from Simple Stories<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirWLrU_1ekdEQky9-8oEL7lZnoTFpYFZZlatX71q_bXNwrN5fIFuolML6ZQ67idbUHm8cOzpLet2nNX2j1mvmNGjW9YatpCKaByV2sEGH20qivQr-VDgHWQyz2hrIsHqDdRmHPQxwk_qLU/s1600/SAM_1781+(1014x1024).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirWLrU_1ekdEQky9-8oEL7lZnoTFpYFZZlatX71q_bXNwrN5fIFuolML6ZQ67idbUHm8cOzpLet2nNX2j1mvmNGjW9YatpCKaByV2sEGH20qivQr-VDgHWQyz2hrIsHqDdRmHPQxwk_qLU/s320/SAM_1781+(1014x1024).jpg" width="316" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">and I then embellished the page with some flowers, buttons and charms from <a href="http://d-lishscraps.openstores.com.au/">D-Lish Scraps,</a> here is a close up of the embellie clusters.</div><br />

<div align="center">I pulled out my pack from Crate Paper 'Random' and used 3 papers that complemented each other, used some of my favourite Distress Stains 'Old Paper' and black thread on my sewing machine to create this little number.
