"You are my Life"

Here is my latest page that I have created for Mad about Scrappin, I hope you like it!
I have used a combination of Thrift Shop, Fly a Kite and Farm Fresh on this LO all from October Afternoon, I have used my Versamark Wheat ink to age the edges of the paper then I have used the pinecone ink for definition. I am really in love with doodling at the moment and I seem to be creating quite a number of pages that use this technique.
It is quite late here in BrisVegas but wanted to show you this little lovely, make sure you head over the the forum and enter the monthly challenges as Leanne, gives away fantastic prizes.
The next challenge is up and it is going to be a challenge for me, not so much the sketch as the colour palette that goes with it, red and blues. Wish me luck.
See you soon

Challenge 3 for August at Mad about Scrappin

Hi all

Long time no see again.... Ooops but August has been a month of illness in our house, if it wasn't one of the girls then it was me :( lets see Gastro and numerous colds have made their way around the lot of us (all except DH Grrrr). We are finally, all nearly right, once this sore throat buggers off I will be alot happier but never the less I am able to start scrapping again. This project spent about 3 weeks in total on my desk at various stages, but we have got there. It is a gorgeous picture of one of my nieces Sophie-Rose, I thought these papers complimented her school uniform wonderfully.

I created the little Owl on the left from the paper left over. He is so cute sitting on his branch. I hope you like it as much as I do. These papers are available from Mad About Scrappin
Well I will see you soon with some new creations :D

Beautiful girl

Well it is show holiday here today so, I have both kidlets with me today so not much time to spare. Thought would share with you a LO I completed at the Mad About Scrappin's 12 hour crop on Saturday night. It is the first of four challenges for the month of August. We had to complete a LO with 3 bright colours, kraft cardstock and doodling, well here is my LO it is called Beautiful You. It is of my youngest daughter Olivia last year at the Wiggles concert.

I Loved these critera and quickly completed this LO. Had a ball at the crop as well, great to sit around and have a great chat with everyone and stuff myself full of yummy food. I am halfway through the first LO for the Challenge Pack for August, should be back within a couple of days with that

I'm back (alittle late) but as promised....

I am applying for the DT at Mad About Scrappin I am pretty excited about this. I am hopeful that I will succeed but either way, my mojo is back and I am look forward to being able to keep this wonderful hobby/ lifestyle up. Here is one of the LO's that I am including in my submission. We had to interpret this sketch

I thought instead of keeping with the sketch and do a shabby flowery LO, I would make mine more simple, well here it is

I made my own rolled roses out of scrap material. I have been making these quite alot lately, just loving them! The patterned Kraft paper is scenic route and I coloured some of the centres blue to match the bazzill. I then fussy cut some of the vines off the Making Memories paper and added a journal it from Teresa collins. Hope you all love it as much as I do.....

Wish me luck, keep your fingers crossed for me. Will post and let you all know how I go.

Hello All I am back!!!

Well I have been a terrible blogger haven't I. But I am making a promise to you and myself that every week I am going to update this blog with some of my work. Here is some of the last LO's I have completed. First one is called Bathing Beauties, it is an example I did for my Business Coz I Want. It uses the chipboard that we sell.

The next one is called Prep Girl it was for one of the themes at Challenge Heaven in June. The Theme was New things and I went with the new school for my big girl Daphne. I am loving muslin at the moment, it is nearly on everyone of my LO's.

This last LO, I completed for the Out of the Hat challenge, Criteria is to use raw chipboard, have a rainbow and also a insect critter. I love this one of Daphne again. I really should make sure I scrap more of Olivia... OOPs

I hope you all are well and I will be back soon to hopefully show you a couple of LO's inspired from the same sketch......
